Welcome

Living Free Recovery Services is a FAITH-BASED substance abuse outpatient treatment program licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

The ultimate goal of Living Free Recovery Services (LFRS) is to help rebuild and restore to wholeness every area of the client's life: spirit, soul and body. Christian principles combined with practical living skills that promote long-term recovery are the foundation of our program.

LFRS purposes to cultivate an atmosphere of love and acceptance to alleviate the strong sense of shame that is common in the chemically addicted. By making available the power of God to the client, he/she is able to apply the principles he/she learns in the recovery program. By encouraging the client in his/her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the recovering addict is able to obtain and maintain a lifestyle of sobriety.

BETTER BURN THOSE BRIDGES

You’ve heard the saying “Don’t burn your bridges,” you never know when you might have to cross back over that bridge again.  Many of us need to burn bridges from our old lifestyles so we won’t have the option to go back again.   When it’s still an option, we tend to waver back and forth, never able to make up our minds, and we end up in confusion.   If you have doubts and feel mixed up it may be time to examine the, “Just in case” options you are still holding onto.  Find out how to get delivered and keep it, (you may have to burn those bridges!).

THE FULL EXTENT OF HIS LOVE

Jesus showed the disciples love by His servant’s heart.  His look of unconditional love teaches you how to continue loving others in the midst of rejection and betrayal.  “Loser” and “Worthless” (the two thieves on the cross) represent two heart conditions that find it difficult to accept God’s love.  Understand how pride keeps you from surrendering to the full extent of God’s love.  Fully yielding to the love of Christ will change your heart.

“When I got to know Jesus… I realized that his love is unconditional and that it was his love shown through the people here that changed me forever, that I’ll never ever be the same.”
