F O R ▪ T R E S S : A structure erected to strengthen against attack; something that acts as protection; a strong place.
Fortresses are designed for defense in warfare. The family unit was created by God to act as a strong place for individuals to retreat.
Living Free Recovery Services has had a desire for many years to see those family and concerned persons affected by addiction receive Godly counsel and education. Addiction is not only destructive to the individual using, but it attacks the relationships and family unit around the addict.
Family Fortress is a 10 week program that meets weekly and offers education and therapy for adult family and concerned persons of an individual struggling with addiction. The program will focus on the process of personal change and healing and will address topics including boundaries, communication and God’s plan for marriage and family. Following completion of the 10 week program, an ongoing support group is available.
The program meets each Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. You must register in order to attend. Call 763-315-7170 for more information and registration materials. | |
