Are you a 12 step program?
Living Free Recovery Services does not utilize the 12 step structure in it’s programs. Although many of it’s principles can be seen throughout the treatment process, LFRS uses a unique program philosophy integrating cognitive behavioral therapy and biblical principles.

What is LFRS's goal for their clients?

The ultimate goal of Living Free Recovery Services (LFRS) is to help rebuild and restore to wholeness every area of the client's life: spirit, soul and body.

How is LFRS different from other chemical dependency centers?
LFRS is a faith based treatment program that is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services to serve individuals 13 years of age and older. Christian principles are the foundation of the recovery program, combined with practical living skills that promote long-term sobriety.

How does LFRS accomplish it's goals?

LFRS purposes to cultivate an atmosphere of love and acceptance to alleviate the strong sense of shame that is common in the chemically addicted. By making available the power of God to the client, he/she is able to apply the principles he/she learns in the recovery program. By encouraging the client in his/her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the recovering addict is able to obtain and maintain a lifestyle of sobriety. LFRS staff encourages the clients who complete the program to continue attending support groups and become a committed and contributing member of a church body.
